But, having tried to make a place in the political life of Rome, he is exiled as traitre. Mad with revenge, Coriolanus becomes the leader of the army of Volscans.

Coriolanus is an adaptation moderne du Coriolan of William Shakespeare!
Casting is made up of Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox and Jessica Chastain.
It is also Ralph Fiennes who accomplished the film. It isn't a surprise knowing the marked taste of the actor for Shakespeare. They owe the adaptation to the scriptwriter of Gladiator, Dernier Samouraï et Aviator: John Logan!
