The weakest box-office of the year for the American cinema! Ten better films of the classification combined a weak 65 million dollar total. At the head of this weekend softy with 13.7 million dollars of recipes, the romantic comedy Happy New Year makes a flop in comparison with his double, Valentine' s Day, which had brought back more than 50 million dollars during his exit.

As last week, it is a box-office US weakling which is discovered this morning. But how to be surprised at it, as we could read it: "if some shit to the audience is spun, let's not wait for us in the fact that they fill rooms" (let's note that this 'saying ' isn't always true). In short both novelties taken out last Friday were really very folichonnes, between the terrible Happy New Year, who becomes bluntly rolled by critics, and comedy The Sitter which counted entirely on the reputation of Jonah Hill...
And well on the one hand, even the Americans will have been fooled that they spun that to them of very bad warming up, Happy New Year accomplishing a score distinctly lesser than his big sister Valentine s Day, which is said by passing wasn't really nicer... Of other one, the result recorded by the comedy The Sitter, 10 million dollars, proves that Jonah Hill still has no stature of a star who, on her only name, can attract the public as a whole. For the rest of the classification, there are some good films but nothing new. They will note however the effectiveness of the film The Descendants, which, distributed in 876 rooms only (against an average of 3000 rooms for els others), accumulates almost 5 million dollars.
