When they were children, Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) and Dave (Jason Bateman) were two inseparable mates, but over the years their ways diverged little by little. Dave is a bright lawyer, devoted to his job, to his wife and to their three children, while Mitch is always single, turns sporadically in pathetic films and escapes slightest responsibility as plague. For Mitch, Dave's life is a dream: he has a delightful woman (Leslie Mann), children who love him and he earns his living lavishly within a prestigious law firm. As for Dave, the life of Mitch, lacking in obligations and in stress, would attract it readily.At the end of a night of dissoluteness, the impossible is going to occur: Dave wakes up in the skin of Mitch, and vice versa.
It is complete panic and two old buddies quickly discover that the life about which they dreamt is well far from the daily reality of the one and of other one. Their adventures become more complicated in the contact of Sabrina (Olivia Wilde), the young sexy colleague of Dave, and of the father of Mitch (Alan Arkin). Our two usurpers are going to have to call unsuspected resources to avoid making go downhill their life of loan, until they manage finally to take again possession of their body.

Standard Exchange . We arrived yesterday in Deauville for ten days of American film festival. The Festival offers both independent films competing and the first film studios. This morning, so pétante 9am for the projection of the comedy Exchange Standard, distributed by Universal. In the register of comedy classified R, that is to say no under 17 years, writers have a hard time to renew between schoolboy jokes - whose climax is all crap - and an obsession for quarantine married, sexually frustrated. Service Exchange, as the title suggests, works on the concept of the exchange of bodily envelope, a concept previously used in the comedy Freaky Friday in the skin of my mother and the same trend as Big , 30 Going on , 17 more years .... Dave ( Jason Bateman ) and Mike ( Ryan Renolds ) are friends since childhood but radically different, Dave is a responsible man, a lawyer, married with three children, a little jaded by life. For his part, Mike is childish, irresponsible and amateur sex orgies. During a drunken night out, everyone says envy the life of another, their wish will be fulfilled, Dave wakes up in the body of Mike and vice versa. There followed a rather comical situations enchaînade expected. One can be entertained by every scene, even if the humor around the sophomoric poop, and anus of Prouts can end up tired as it has become essential in the R-Rated American comedies. Service Exchange also has much in common with the recent Farrelly brothers comedy, Proofs . The sexual frustration of quarantine became the favorite theme, a must. On the merits, it does not advance one iota, everything is hyper stereotyped and we can start to get really irritated by the treatment that is applied to women. They are either hysterical mothers with a single need in the world, the attention of their husbands or sex bomb fuel strong alcohol, sports and sex. The dream of every man ... And apparently you slack breasts and the string without any need screenplay. Subtlety is totally absent from the film that sends you a little tune like "Intimate Confessions" to announce the sequence emotion. The only positive This production can possibly be in the interpretation of Jason Bateman ( Juno , Hancock , State of Play ) and Ryan Reynolds ( X-Men Origins: Wolverine , The Proposal , Buried ) who were able to play with typical expressions of one and the other, giving a certain authenticity to the exchange of body. However, neither one nor the other seem to have a sufficiently developed comic sense for this type of film and in any case does have they nothing better to do? Emilie Bablée
