Margin Call is indeed interested in eight persons working for a big bank of investment and it, during 24 hours which preceded the announcement of the financial crisis of 2008. The film draws inspiration therefore from real facts.
Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Qunito, Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Demi Moore and Stanley Tucci camp eight persons in link with the bank of investment.
What it is possible to see here is sober and intense at the same time and promises us pure and hard cynical reality. If sometimes they prefer closing eyes on the terrible reality of the modern world, it is also possible to make the choice not to die stupid and the film seems to teach us many things about those who play with " our money ".
J.C. Chandor ran the film according to the own scenario.
The film will be distributed in autumn in the United States.
